Purple or gold hoop earrings in the larger size of the Marilyn style hoop, a modern style hoop with a frosted finish. The Marilyn hoop is a tapering or waning shape that starts & ends at a point and widens in the middle. The large version of the Marilyn hoop measures 1.25" or 30mm in diameter and 12mm in width. Earrings are made with vintage lucite parts that were made in Rhode Island or NYC in the 1960's - early 80's by Best Plastics or another manufacturer for design houses of that era. We hand-set them with surgical steel earring posts and they have sturdy surgical steel/acrylic backings on them as well. Light-weight & fun to wear.
